It’s the watermark of stillness and the vibrancy of action. It’s living without all the unnecessary and only the important. Because life isn’t about how fast we can run or how busy we can get. One step with Christ is of far greater advancement than a million steps of our own. Sometimes it’s all the extra miles we add that deprive us of recognizing the simple joys and unassuming moments.
Simplicity doesn’t beckon loudly. Are our ears tuned to gentle quietness? Do we take time to study smiles and understand hearts? Is it not more valuable to sprinkle our homes with hugs than to revolve around our desks? Do we stir at the idea twinkling in our brothers eye, and enjoy his joy by adding our own? Is love our priority?
