I’m walking–praying–awed again at the high and holy privilege of entering the throne room of the Most High God, humbled and honored by His loving willingness to make my own heart His throne. We talk. I learn. All because He loves…
My mind scans a multitude of promises; my steps stir up wonder as I weave my way along the trail. What does it mean to “walk by faith, not by sight?” (2 Corinthians 5:7)
And then He shows me that “walking by faith” means walking with Him. Yes, walking so closely by His side that I know His moves, I hear Him whisper His thoughts, I let Him show me His way. And what I don’t know right now is all okay, because I know Him, and He knows everything.
Walking by faith is not about uncertainty. It’s not about walking blindly. It’s about walking beside Faithfulness Himself, holding the hand of Almighty God, looking through His eyes. Then—and only then—can we really see.
